Personally as someone who never checks, we always exit on the arrivals level, so catching a Parking shuttle or Uber there is more convenient for us.
??? if you uber or park @ LAX whats the difference if you check 2 bags or none, as you will always be dropped off for leaving on the departure level and p/u on the arrivals
The new system will affect only those staying in a hotel or having a rental car, thusly the new rules wont affect you = bags or no bags no changes for you
