Absolutely unreal experience on Cathay and Dragon website booking

Wanted to travel between two cities in China, with a quick stop over in Hong Kong, all within 6 days.

Try to do it in one shot, but after multiple tries found out for some reason it has to be a 7-day ticket (can't be 6 days) for multiple cities, at least not on website.

Then, try to split between two tickets. After matching time decided to purchase. Found out one ticket because it origins out of China then I have to use Union Pay or Aliba something, chose Aliba something as it supports US credit cards. Then got rejected the first time (system error), then second try my US credit card company rejected it because too many attempts and they sense fraud, finally sort it out later.

All of these sound quick, but the amount of time spent trying and retrying is a lot. For an international company they sure make booking directly with them very unfriendly and what's up with the two charging system? Can't even use my AMEX for one PNR because it's a China finance system.

Quick note: I notice one ticket instead of C-class J-fare (Business (J)) is what it usually says it says C-class C-fare (Business(C)), does Cathay have a new C-fare in their C-class?

Anyway, just wanted people to know. If you are booking multi-cities with trip length less than 7 days, expect problems.
