I got lucky on my upgrade from SIN-NRT last month. Last weekend of March...on a Saturday night.

I was on the waitlist since booking in Jan. I didn't get the upgrade until we were boarding at the gate. I believe I was one of only a few to get the upgrade. I'm a 1K and was on a Q fare. I got the last seat and was in 15D.
