Can anyone please confirm if I am calculating my mileage right for this proposed itinerary? The last leg is on Cathay however. I am a gold member.

FLL - DFW - HKG - CGK
AA - AA - AA -CX

Total actual miles: 16,880

With the gold bonus, would I be earning 23,632 miles?

I am finding this fare for about $500. Given the CPM, would this seem like a pretty good deal?
