In July I am flying in C on a P class fare LH 965 (EDI-FRA) connecting to LH 772 (FRA-BKK) with a 65 min connection time in FRA which I am very stressed about as I know FRA well and think the odds of making the connection are slim at best – even if LH 965 is on time. I called LH to see if I could change the EDI-FRA leg to the earlier LH flight and indicated I would be happy to fly in Y but was informed there would be a large change fee (~∉350). Seems pretty short-sighted to me and could end up costing LH a lot more than the change fee if I miss the connection in FRA. Anyway I was wondering if there is any way of changing this flight without incurring a change fee e.g. same day change, etc? For what it is worth I am also *A Gold.
