My ticket was issued in December so I shouldn't fall foul of that apparent new rule. However, as SeeBuyFly has also requested, a source would be appreciated in case I receive any push back at check-in.

One thought does strike me, though. That is quite a significant piece of news and I would expect it to be fairly well promulgated by the airline, but I see no mention of it on their site. Of course, I could have overlooked it but I combed their site extensively.
