But if you downgrade and then upgrade, would you be eligible for future bonuses?

I haven't really used it since I met the required spending and got the miles for signing up.

And I don't see using it much because I have the Sapphire Reserve, which gives 3 points per dollar used on travel, which is the same or better than using the MPE for buying UA tickets.
