While this thread is pretty much dead, I figured I'd update it with one of my newer favorites. I imagine this would be possible on most airlines, but at least on UA's new Polaris service, it's not a bad option!
Variation on a Penicillin Cocktail:
* 1 mini-bottle Dewar's blended scotch
* 1 mini-bottle Glenfarclas single-malt scotch
* 2 honey packets (available on their coffee/tea service cart, if the FA tells you they're not sure if they have honey!!

)
* 3-4 wedges of lemon
Optional: The "real" cocktail has muddled ginger in it. I've started bringing a little bag of crystallized ginger in my carry-on. If you make the cocktail, squeeze a few pieces with your fingers and add to the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, just eating crystallized ginger as a munchie mid-flight is really good! Helps to both settle the stomach and eliminate that morning-mouth feeling on long TPAC flights. Without the ginger, it's not really a Penicillin cocktail, but the scotch/honey/lemon mixture is still pretty awesome.
Squeeze the lemons into a glass half-full of ice, and pour in the honey. Stir to combine (along with the crushed crystallized ginger, if you brought any) and then add the full bottle of Dewar's and a splash (1/4 or 1/3rd of the bottle) of Glenfarclas. Stir to combine and then give it 30 seconds for the ice to melt a little.
Enjoy!
