There is no Avianca A318 registered N589EL. They have a total of ten registered N590EL-N598EL and N599AV (originally N599EL interestingly!)
I would think that whoever wrote the "Quote" in the OP's opening thread could have at least listed the registrations in numerical order, listed N592EL correctly, and spelt "older" correctly!
Airbus only installed one set of sharklets on the last A318 CJ Elite built, VP-CYB (c/n 5545), and soon replaced them with the standard wing fences before it was sold, so I wonder if the sharklets were ever certified by Airbus for later installation.
