Hey , I think this might be a first.

My fiancee and I are leaving for Maui and Kauai on the 3rd and will return on the 19th, a few days before MOthers day.

Now, mom does have a pretty good green thumb but this year, we'd like to get her a plant that may be native to Hawaii but might be able to flourish in NY, Long Island.

Ideas?? I'd probably want to get the plant in Kauai since that is the last stop.
