There is a Citi ATM in the arrivals hall.... which wont be there for long, it will be soon replaced by a Santander machine...

OT but still good to know as Citi is so big in North America and many folks that come to Argentina bank with them.....

Citibak sold its retail banking network to Santander late last year, they are now in the merging process.... needless to say, I'm very very unhappy and this is a sad moment for the Banking Industry here. I opened my accounts with Citi here in the mid 90s and even while I lived abroad I always had them open.... From what my Citibankers tell me the rebranding of all Citi branches and ATMs in to begin the 3rd week of January, with the Citi brand to disappear completely by the start of 3rd quarter of this year.

The departure of Citi from the Retail segment is a HUGE loss for the Argentine Retail banking system.... while its service was not stellar, it was still (by far) the best full service banking system in the country, with highly competent and well trained staff that were always well ahead of anything offered by BBVA, Santander and the other Banks. The only other foreign bank that comes close is HSBC. I hope that Santander is smart enough to retain the key people from Citi and allow them to continue most of the Citibank way of working with clients.... they would be very foolish to do otherwise.
