Can I make one of my comments/opinions, that are considered "stupid"?
What I would do, if I wanted to do that route, and not have any lounge access, would be to phone up QF telephone sales, and tell them you want to buy a "comfort seat" booking.
Meaning the seat next to you can be bought by you, so that space is all yours.
Its just like business class, and the 2 seats on the 330/on the 737, is all yours.
Granted you don't get any lounge access.
When I did it across to NZ, I got my own and also the other "seat occupier's" QFF points and also the QF SC earnt.
Edit: though, if BAGGLF if that is/could be BAEC Gold, mean QF Plat equiv, that could give you lounge access.
