The card reader is EMV capable. More than likely signature only once EMV is enabled.

As for JITB, looks like they're going for Ingenico iPP350s.
Looks cool, haven't been to Sonic in a few years. Those Hypercom units were cool when they were new but their prime time passed. Looks like no PIN entry buttons at all so no PIN support there. Weird considering the old ones could do it for Debit, presumably. Not a lot of Sonics out here but I do know of one location so will have to add it to the list of places to check out.
