If you have a car I recommend a Palo Verde River tour. Drive SE of Filadelfia to the small town of Ortega. The Mendoza family operation is run out of the Little Crocodile Restaurant and includes a great lunch. The river is tidal so I also recommend you check the tides; you will have the best tours 2 hours either side of high tide.
