Lastly, I use African Travel Resource and I noticed they were critical of these properties. They definitely tend to prefer more independent places with a certain ethos towards safari (i.e they are huge fans of Serian as are we), but I'm curious if you felt like they were overly harsh?

Thanks for the great review. That costco deal was fantastic. $6000 PP with all flights. Even if you skipped the long coach flight it'd be an excellent deal. Too bad it never works during the US summer--I always get slammed with higher rates.
