So spooky, you posted this at 13:49, I checked in like 2 hours after that.
I wasn't gonna write a review, but I'll tack on some thoughts since my experience is a bit different.
Location: Yes, pretty good as long as you're willing to do a little walking. Normally when I travel I make it a point to walk a lot. The only downside is that mid-January, the place is a sheet of ice. Between the parking lot, the walkways to it, crossing the street behind the hotel, it's all very treacherous. There has been some salting, just not enough and maybe there's not really anything we can do about black ice, but still.
Checkin: Quick, efficient, pleasant. I didn't get any info, but usually I kinda just tune that stuff out anyway. I didn't get the wifi password so when I came down later a different employee seemed like a bit surprised I didn't know it was just "stockholm". As if it were written all over the walls. I'm not a platinum, so I wasn't expecting a drink or anything, so my experience in this was fine.
Bar: It is open now, but it's only open from 1700-2200 or 1900-2300 or something, it's literally like 4 hours in the evening and not open too late, so I won't be trying it I don't think. I would've liked a restaurant though, circle K across the street had some food, but it would've been nice to know exactly what it was.
Room: Mine is much smaller as it's just me solo. My only issues are the quilt, it's comfortable but doesn't cover the whole bed, it's just strange. The other issue is the shower, it kinda sucks. I've got roughly the same shower head, only it doesn't stay up. I hate doing the one handed shower thing, but I guess I'll just have to cope for a couple days.
Style: The decor isn't really "stylish", if they told me this was an Ibis Budget, for the price, and what I got, I wouldn't be surprised. I suppose it's a bit more stylish than the last few budgets I've stayed in, but not by much. It's not ugly, not boring, but the pipes on the ceiling are a bit lame and there's some installations in the room that could be better used as storage areas.
Overall: For the price I'm fine with it. Location works for me (I'll have to find that back exit, save me some time and some possible falls on the ice) and it was great to just see it from the highway as I was taking the bus from Arlanda. I would stay here again for sure if the circumstances were similar and the price. 4 stars? Out of 4? No chance in hell. Out of 5? Nah. I'd say like 3-3.5. There's SOME amenities, but they're limited, the place is KINDA nice but not blow away, the service is fine, but it's not AMAZING. For me a 3-3.5 is a step up from the places I usually stay though, so I'm happy here
