We are flying YXY to NBO at the end of September, PE is an option but we would prefer J.
If you keep an eye on the Premium Fares forum you can occasionally find international J fares that are appealing, whether on AC or on another airline/alliance. Sometimes discounted fares come and go very quickly.
And yes, there was quite a good J fare seat sale on AC for about a week in December, so it does happen occasionally. These are rarely advertised so you have to keep looking or follow forums like this one.
