Unless the GA is absolutely desperate don't expect to hear your name called when connecting to an international flight. Especially to somewhere like DUB where there is only one DL metal flight a day.
Unless you can be moved to a nonstop, which in this case would be ATL-DUB, although the GA might try to do this without compensation, especially if it doesn't mean that you arrive at the destination later.
