Do FTers based in North America tip hotel housekeeping staff based on the size of the room they're in, or based on the room rate, or based on some other mystical formula?

It's certainly more work to clean a suite compared to a standard room. Since this is the Hyatt forum, how about if you use a DSU, do you only tip the housekeeper based on the underlying room size booked, and write a note "Diamond - DSU"?
