If time has no value, you have friends on whom you can impose at your EU departure point, you have found a US / Asia location with a low fare and so on, you might do better. On the other hand, if you could put your time to better use, don't fancy the cost of a nice hotel at least on the outbound and want flexibility, the answer is simple.

Otherwise, a Vickers Viscount would do just fine to hop its way across Europe, the ME and Asia.
Indeed, I realise that this is very subjective. I am looking for advice on how to maximise the voucher's value given my willingness to position ex-EU for destinations that usually come up in sales specifically with Qatar. I suspect using it for a direct flight to South America or the West coast might be good but I expected some tips from experts.
