I have the same issue. My flight have been cancelled and the alternative option is 25-minute transit in ADD (the route is BOM-ADD-CPT). ET seems to hold longer block time so most flights tend to arrive early, but still I think it's pretty risky especially if there is any checked-in luggage. I've decided to not take this alternative option.
