Speculation: perhaps because it didn't have a VX number? I would think the email link should have included that.
When I enter my AS info, the name under the VX section is blank and there isn't even a line for the VX number!
I don't think it's because the server is busy (it's 11:30 PM west coast). The link I saved from the email is this--

It doesn't even include my VX account number so there's no way the website to link the accounts will have the VX info. I logged in to my VX account separately but that's not helping.

Those of you who were able to link your VX and AS accounts, does the link in your email have your VX account number in the link?
