This board does not suck. I sense your frustration, but that is the way "social forums" work not just FT. You get an answer or half answer along with personal editorial slant.

I've been a member of FT for a long time and in the early '00s we had so much "snark and smack" in the forums they were REALLY fun. Now the forums are managed very different and rightfully so.

I think the side comments - to a degree - are fine. I dont think anyone was condescending or intentionally mean. Every forum has a "persona" and we should embrace that difference.
