MSM2000 was over on the BA board the other day inviting people to come over, so I thought I would!
QR surely show BA how to do a sale.
I booked our first QR flights (for me and my wife) to AKL from OSL, returning to CDG for the great price of £2987, so far I'm a very satisfied customer.

I have a couple of newbie questions and would appreciate help from the QR regs please

1. I completed the booking process and on BA as a OWE I would be able to chose the 1st row. I understand from reading that these are bassinet seats, but was still wondering if I was able to book these rows by phoning up or not.
2. I wasn't asked for any passport or advanced passenger information, is this normal. Will I be asked to provide this at a later date or not at all.
3. Are you able to pre-select your main courses 28 days prior to departure or not (hopefully QR carry more food than BA)
4. We have 2 flights on a 777-200, one on a 777-300 and one on the 787. Are they refurbing the 777's and if so we will have a chance of seeing the new seats at all (we fly in September)
5. Will QR have a lounge in AKL, I can't find one in the lounge guide (I presumed as they don't fly there yet). I'm sure I'll be ok for lounge access as a OWE.
