Loyalty marketing for dummies

I have been a Miles&Smiles member for about 4 years now, and E+ for the last 2. My last flight with TK, on a M&S redemption, was one week ago.

Today, I received the following email from them:
Become a Miles&Smiles Member and Start Earning Now
Miles&Smiles members can earn hundreds of Miles on Booking.com reservations. Become a Miles&Smiles member and earn 5 miles for each €1 you spend.
This email was sent to the very same address that is in my M&S profile, and where all my e-tickets of the past years have been sent to.
