With the limited information you gave I would pick LAX>HKG both directions. Although the DFW>HKG flight is nice since it is the longest in flight currently AA has running. But the reason I pick LAX is Cathay has a very very fine product so many people will pick CX which is a One World Partner and leaves more flight capacity on AA 777w
