Upon further review, it is metal. I was used to the slightly older metal version of the CSP which was heavy. This CSR is light in comparison. I had only taken a quick look at it when I posted.
They seems about the same to me. CSP, CSR, and MP Club all weight about the same. Closing my eyes I can't tell them apart at all.
