Longboater is making stuff up. Saying things like the 788 has ideally too much range for certain missions and the A330NEO is the same size as the 789 (the A339 that DL ordered has more capacity in equal configurations) shows a lack of even outsider knowledge.

AA's 789 is 285 and the DL 333 is 293. I'd say AA has a pretty comparable config to what DL would likely have on a 789.
The 359 is a 305-310 seater in a DL type config. IMO the 339 is closer to the 789 size class than it is the 359 size class.
