Public statements are possibly the most unreliable pieces of information.
Longboater is making stuff up. Saying things like the 788 has ideally too much range for certain missions and the A330NEO is the same size as the 789 (the A339 that DL ordered has more capacity in equal configurations) shows a lack of even outsider knowledge.
