On the right side (K). I don't know if A side saw it as well but my side was actually facing south because we were flying northeast towards the north pole. Just a side note - aurora borealis looks more white in the air (it's more green on the ground). It looked like streaks of clouds to me at first but when I look closely, I realized it was the aurora borealis.
That's awesome. I've seen them before on IS flights from PDX-KEF. We were on the north facing side, but the lights were seen from the south facing side as we flew up northern Canada and Greenland. On an IS return flight KEF-SEA one time I saw them on the north side.
