Just returned from a great 5 night family stay on points (2nd year in a row - it pays to troll) Didn't hurt that the temps were 76-78f with minimal breeze every day!

A couple updates:

Still 2 coupons per day per room occupied by Gold or Diamond member. Cont'l Breakfast upgrades to full buffet ran approx. $10.50 pp (220 pesos when we were there). Kids full buffet was about $12. These prices adjust frequently to keep up with devaluations. We were 2 adults and a 9 yr. old. for cont'l bfast. They seat until 11 and serve til 11:20, so we ate enough to be full until dinner.

There is a private company doing horseback rides on the beach - concierge didn't know too much about them, and stopped short of recommending them. We didn't try it.

Mega in SJ del Cabo is now known as La Comer. Looked exactly the same to us.
