Came back from HKG yesterday and I was appalled how service was done upstairs in the 747. In the area between row 14 and 15 the carts were set up with the plates etc. All the used plates, glasses and flatware were deposited there and sorted. It felt like the service area in a restaurant. The sound of plates and glasses coming together, all the noise was just outrageous. It was difficult for the FAs to take the desert and after dinner drink orders with the noise going on. With all the hype for Polaris and the new standard of service for goodness sake don't cheapen it in such a manner. Just my five cents.
