I used the QF First Lounge in AKL last August, staff was very nice; it was a ghost town. It certainly won't be confused for CX lounges in HKG, but some hot bites on offer, self-serve bar, etc.

I had to ask to be let into the First side, as OWE/EXP on an AA flight, but they admitted it was still a new service to them, and apologized profusely for the "inconvenience". (Their words... all-told, check-in was approximately 10 seconds.)
