I will do. I managed to price up a couple of redemptions Flybe-BA connecting on ba.com and confirm that there's a tax saving as well as connection protection so am keen to manage the same with EI. Next stop is Avios customer support just to see whether they think I should be able to book it so I compare pricing etc with BA.
