I dunno... I figure it's still worth it, given that for a $75 fee, I get a companion cert that I can use to fly two of us very cheaply WAS-SEA nonstop, plus an upgrade that I can potentially use for my companion on that flight, _plus_ close to a Saver award's worth of miles per year. Not too shabby...
