Citigold

Sorry - but I haven't been checking back as often as I used to. Citigold is a type of checking offered by Citibank - higher yield than regular checking and it has a fee - started out at $125, reduced to $95, and I just heard that they will be eliminating the fee. You need to have a total of 100K with the bank and it can ben with linked accounts, including keogh's, ira's, home equity accounts, etc. Even with the fee it was worth it to have the AAdvantage Fee waived and the Diner's Club card waived. With DC, the first year I paid the fee because I got 12000 miles. Check with any citibank branch in your hometown to find out more about it and see if that kind of checking meets your needs. They have great online banking web-site for bill paying and checking your accounts. My father has his account there, my brother and I have them all linked.
