This morning I called reservations to cancel an e-up in favour of the complimentary upgrade and was told I'd already received it.

Sure enough, without my intervention, the reservation shows J Flexible and my e-ups are returned.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

(AC lurkers: I like this service if not an accident, but I did lose my seat selection in the process which is frustrating.)
