The fact that the BA tracer could see them in the system was initially quite encouraging; however the latest update online is now requesting details of the contents of the bags, which is a little less reassuring.
Honestly I would think that is more to do with identification than anything else. Remember for many missing bags the tags have come off so the contents is a prime means of ID.
It could take some days before you are reunited. It's a semi manual system and dependent on someone I) finding the bag, ii) checking the system and iii) doing something with it.
