As mentioned, they aren't really that old, so I would expect AS to get a bit more mileage out of them. We know 737-700 will be in the fleet for some time to come, since they are converting three to freighters. My hope would be that the 11 remaining passenger planes get interior upgrades to bring them up to the standard of the 737-800/900 fleet. Its a mixed blessing, as I prefer the Y seats on the 737-700 due to their better padding. But the planes are clearly due for a refurb, since they last had an interior "refresh" about twelve years ago.
