Is there any way that I can do this on one ticket? Does being *G swing any weight in this?
Thanks for any info.
I doubt such a mixed fare is possible (short haul in Y, long-haul in J). I have seen mixed fares where outbound in one class, and return in another.
I think being *G is meaningless - a fare needs to be published for what you want, and so a good TA might be your best bet to try and construct something.
In my experience, often fares from a place like KUL via BKK are actually cheaper than if originating in BKK. i.e. KUL-BKK-MEL rtn may be cheaper the simply BKK-MEL rtn.
