Hilton Toronto, Toronto, ON, CA.
HHonors Gold.
The wiki says "Hilton Toronto: Continental breakfast in lounge, but full breakfast in restaurant given when lounge closed." I have nothing that contradicts that information. As a Gold with the lounge closed, I was given a coupon for the breakfast buffet in the restaurant. I got the impression that it was only for the buffet, but that's what I wanted so I didn't ask for clarification.
The buffet included four cold meats, two hot meats, scrambled eggs, pancakes and waffles, cut fruit plus whole apples, oranges, and bananas, six kinds of cold cereal plus oatmeal, slice-it-yourself rustic breads, four juices, and generally more variety than I have seen in a long time, including sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and cheese. (And I think I'm forgetting some things.) I saw a sign saying that I could get made-to-order eggs (including egg whites only), but I did not take advantage of that. The yogurt came in small cartons (4 oz or metric equivalent rather than 6 oz). Not being a pastry type, I was not dismayed by the relatively small variety of muffins and Danish (two each). It was a great spread!
I did not update the wiki.
