One comment about how long you can use the Marriott 7 night certificate: they are good for a year, and as beltline stated you can extend them for a year. That doesn't add on the time you can book in advance. So you could get a cert this month, extend for a year next January, and then book your room in January 2019 for 11-12 months out. So technically you may not actually use it for almost 3 years. It's a great deal.
Is this true? With other Marriott certs (Chase anniversary and MegaBonus certs, specifically), they have to be
used by the deadline, not just booked. That's not the same for TP certs?
