My flight is in 48 hours so I checked-in early to make sure my family doesnt get seats chosen randomly/separated from one another. It seems I made a mistake on the expiration date of one passport (wrong day) but I want to change that information yet I am afraid of the effects of "cancel check-in".

Can I cancel it and re check in? and if I do so, would I lose my seats?
