Gone is plates, Irish linen, cultlery and even cups....just experience new trans-Tasman biz class, same food as down back, was on lunch flight, disappointing beef & noodle salad (mainly noodles), other choice foccacia. Comes in a box (hey didn't Qantas just abandon the box domestically?). No hot food, not even hot bread. The real let down was the PAPER cups for coffee (come on NZ, surely real cups or even Express Mugs (don't microwave them) is classer than paper! The only hot food was a nice brownie with the coffee (on a plastic dish). Wine substantially same choice.

I think they may struggle with this level of service trans-Tasman competing with QF & EK biz classes - maybe it is the start of phasing out of J and having all Y service trans-Tasman? What a shame, NZ biz class (prior to 29/10) was fantastic food
