If you don't mind could i tag onto this to save clutter from another thread?
Flew SYD-AUH-MCT (F - Apartments). MCT flight is cancelled and EY throw me on Oman Air (was done by walking over to the oman air counter and saying they need to put me on the flight about 10 mins before boarding and am told "your luggage wont make this, but dont worry we will send your luggage on the 10pm EY flight".
Don't end up with my luggage until 10 days later in Munich.
In MCT/AUH/CDG (i had in person engagements with EY staff) all advised that to purchase replacement items that EY would cover me to $80 USD per day (F travel).
Now ... after waiting so long for a reply from the customer service they say since the last carrier was Oman that EY is not liable.
The travel was in September ... Oman Air website says all claims must be received within 21 days (all original tickets/receipts to be sent to oman).
