Everything that I can pay with the credit cards, I will. Hotels, etc, are already all paid for on the CC.
I'm just talking about withdrawing or having cash. I bank with a local credit union here in IA so I assume they will have some fees for cash withdrawals in Europe, I wasn't sure if they would be lower or higher than the standard CC fees. I plan to pay all charges off as soon as we get back in the states to prevent interest charges.

But even if OP has a debit card that doesn't reimburse ATM fees, certainly withdrawing cash with a debit/ATM card is the best option for cash needs and the small fee isn't worth worrying about in this situation. Credit card ATM withdrawal would be an absolute last resort for a true emergency cash need only.
OP, you can provide notice to Chase of your foreign travel for your two Chase credit cards on their website about 30 days ahead, to help preclude the cards being declined. If your debit card is with Chase, you can provide the same kind of travel notice on their website as well.
Thanks for the info, will use the debit card for cash withdrawals and notify Chase of travel.
