2. Is the husband still in LAS?
If the answer to 1 and 2 are Yes: I thought that SWA had a social media presence in which they helped folks? That might be an avenue to get the husband returned to BWI sooner.
For the refund of the difference in fare, I agree that contacting the Customer Service would be the best solution. SWA doesn't "owe" the friend anything, but sometimes they go above and beyond in such circumstances.
