Now that AC has adopted the miserly approach to accruing mileage within Canada, does anyone know how it works if I give my MP number?

Will United credit me with full miles/ status miles on an AC flight on, for instance, an econo fare within Canada that earns only 50% miles with AP? What about a Tango fare that earns 0 miles?
