EI flies from T1 because all domestic flights are from T1. Since there is a common travel area between GB and Ireland, EI flights are assimilated to domestic flights for this purpose.
As far as BD is concerned, since a substantial proportion of their traffic is domestic, it makes sense to consolidate everything at T1 (even if it makes transfer longer from other *A airlines)
