Wait a minute lets just say I am a passenger flying from JFK-CDG on this 767 or from SFO-JFK wouldn't I get exposed to the same fumes and could get sick? I have breathed in fumes on flights before and came down with bronchitis/sinus infection. So now if I get sick again due to inhaling the fumes is AA responsible?

Point is if its not safe for the crew how can it be safe for the passengers? The crew is up and about walking up and down the aisle while the passengers are for the most part sitting except for using the lav or walking up and down the aisles.

I am surprised that there was no indication before the plane departed the penultimate destination before the medical emergency.
